How many children were born in our country on the first day of the New Year?

Of these, 539 were boys and 555 were girls.
The largest number of newborns was registered in the Fergana Region (138).
The following regions have the highest number of newborns:
Surkhandarya Region (135),
Samarkand Region (125),
Kashkadarya Region (121), and
Namangan Region (110).
The lowest birth rate was recorded in the Syrdarya Region (19).
It is worth noting that 17 of the newborns were twins, or 15 triplets, 1
set of triplets, and 1 set of quadruplets, for a total of 37 babies.
Currently, doctors are providing qualified medical care to all of them
according to established standards.
During the ongoing holidays in our country, along with a number of medical
institutions, medical workers are also working in maternity hospitals. In
particular, 4,913 obstetricians/gynecologists, neonatologists, midwives, and
nurses are on duty throughout the country during holidays.
As a reminder, during this period, 1,111 babies were born in our country in
2020, 1,086 in 2021, 1,448 in 2022, 1,312 in 2023, 1,043 in 2024, and 1,040 in
2025.
